EASY TIPS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CANDLE

Candles are the ideal finishing touch to the décor of any house, not just for their glorious fragrance, but also for the warm candlelight they throw away. To fully enjoy your candle, it is necessary to give it the appropriate care. Here are some important burning tips:

THE FIRST BURN
As with all candles, the first burn is the most important. If you are burning your candle for the first time, for best results, allow your candle to burn for 2-4 hours to achieve a full melt pool prior to extinguishing the flame. This will make your candle last longer.
On the other hand, If the wax is not allowed to melt from edge to edge of the vessel, "memory ring" will be formed, especially if the candle is lit for the first time. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. Therefore, it will cause some wax to be wasted.

TRIM YOUR WICK
It is really important to maintain a short wick to get the most out of your candle. Keeping your candle’s wick trimmed helps it burn more cleanly and efficiently. To prolong the burn life, trim wick to 1/4" before each burn. For this, you can use a wick trimmer, nail clippers, scissors, etc).

LET THE WAX POOL
Enable the entire top layer to become a fragrant pool of liquid wax every time you burn your candle and you will get the biggest, boldest fragrance possible.

GET THE BEST OUT OF THE SCENT
Opened doors and windows can disperse fragrance and minimize concentration. Keep the windows and doors closed and burn in the desired space for 30 minutes before entering for maximum fragrance.

HOW TO HANDLE SOOT AND KEEP WAX CLEAN
If soot forms on the inside of the vessel, extinguish candle, wait for it to cool, then wipe with a clean damp cloth. Trim wick and relight. Keeping your wicks trimmed and your candles free of debris is the best way to avoid soot and smoke.

KEEP AWAY FROM WINDY SPACES
Draughts decrease burn time, cause uneven burning, smoking and diminished scent throw.
